Room in houseshare - Fulham; SKY TV & Wirless internet
London flatshare in Fulham
The room is a light and airy with large double full height sash windows and high ceilings. There is "Warren Evans" pine double bed with storgae underneath, double pine wardrobe and separate chest of drawers plus bed side cabinet.
The house is a large three story Victorian just off of Munster Road in Fulham, it has a large open plan lounge/dining room through to a fully fitted kitchen and conservatory. The property is very well maintained and decorated and is very homely! There is wireless internet access, full SKY TV package, washing machine, dishwasher etc.
You will share with two others (one male and one female) and me the landlord from time to time (Male) as I live in Devon most of the time - Rob is 28 and works as chartered surveyor at a surveying firm. He plays a number of sports (squash, rugby, kayaking) and enjoys going to the gym but also enjoys a good read, eating out, walks and socialising with friends. He would be looking for flatmates who are chilled during the week but up for some fun at the weekend. Philippa is 31 and works for a marketing agency. She has lived in Fulham for approx. 5 years and so is familiar with the area. She is looking for somewone who is condusive to living in a relaxed living arrangement. It is important to her to get on with who she lives with so it would be great to live with likeminded people. She is quiet during the week and tends to socialise at the weekend in and around Fulham (most of her friends live in the area).
I live in Torquay, Devon with my wife Sally and daughter Lizzie, we are 38, 33 and 23 months. We are a socialable family and would like to be part of household when we visit. We may come back to the house and use the 4th bedroom from time to time – more likely regularly for my wife who has to work 3 days in London a month.
I have a sample of the contract that we have for the house tenancy and also a spreadsheet showing the breakdown of the bills which with the cleaner work out at £84 a month per person, this would be payable in addition to your rent.
It would be good if you can email details about yourself so I can forward to Rob & Phillipa for consideration and viewing potential; e.g. interests, background, job etc. As much detail as possible as we are aware that the room will have a high demand and we want to get the right personality to suit.
It takes 12 minutes to walk to Fulham Broadway but it is quicker to walk to Barons Court to get Piccadilly Line straight into town without changing at Earls Court I believe if you are working in West End/City, Barons Court is 15 minute walk via windy back road short cut and through a cemetery!
To confirm rent is £125 per week (£541 per month) then as per the spreadsheet, I have calculated the average bills including the weekly cleaner, to be £84 per month per tenant (I have based this on a π share for my room to make it fair). In total rent will be £625 per month all in, no bills on top at all. We ask that you respect the use of the utilities - gas and electric so that the bills are kept as low as possible because this year I am happy to cover the cost of the increased fuel charges!
I ask that you pay a standing order in advance with a one month deposit as per normal.
